(sabasports report)According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan are close to signing Genoa goalkeeper Josep Martinez for a fixed transfer fee of €13 million plus a bonus of €2 million. The deal is expected by the end of the week.
Inter had previously considered signing Franco Orosztonio, who is on loan at Cagliari, but opted for a €13m fixed fee plus a €2m bonus.
The addition of Mr. Martinez will provide a strong guarantee for Yann Sommer, 35 years old. Inter executives are full of expectations of Martinez, hope he can become the team’s main goalkeeper in 2025-26 season.
