(sabasports report)In a recent appearance on the show, Los Angeles Lakers coach JJ Redick revealed that the team would love to bring in another center.

“I thought we had a really good, well-balanced lineup,” Redick said. But we would love to bring in another centre forward. If you look at the Western Conference right now, the Nuggets and Timberwolves have an interior lineup, the Thunder did that this offseason, and the Grizzlies, they’re going to get back to being a strong team, they picked Zach Edey. To match those teams, you need some big players.”
Redick’s comments indicate that the LAKERS are looking at other Western Conference teams’ interior strength and considering the introduction of a new center to improve their competitiveness. The Nuggets and Timberwolves have strong interior linings, while the Thunder and Grizzlies also strengthened their interior linings in the offseason. If the Lakers can bring in a quality center, it will help the team’s position in the Western Conference competition.
