Mr Leao said: “An invitation to the Saudi league? For me, the Champions League is worth more than 10 million euros a year. I haven’t had the big results to accept going to that league. Right now I’m focusing on contributing to Milan, which is why I signed a new contract a few months ago.”

“I believe the club is on the right path and we managed to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League. Now the goal for the team is to keep going, keep accumulating, keep being strong. Although the team is young, we have played more than 50 games in Serie A, more than 20 games in the Champions League and already have some experience. We can apply this experience and youthful energy on the pitch to achieve our goals. You can never say never, but I am at a club that has welcomed me very much, I have renewed my contract, I would not have renewed it if I was thinking about leaving, and I am focused on achieving great results with AC Milan in the next two or three years.”
