West Ham United’s form this season has been somewhat erratic. They are currently in 16th place in the league, 10 points clear of the relegation zone, so there is currently no pressure regarding relegation. Due to poor results, the team changed head coach at the beginning of January, hiring former Chelsea coach Graham Potter. Brentford’s maturity lies in the fact that even when behind, they do not rashly increase their attacking efforts; they continue to play the ball around in the back to look for opportunities, showing clear confidence in their attack. Given West Ham’s current attacking efficiency, while they have many attacking chances, they will inevitably leave more space for Brentford to counterattack.
