(sabasports report)AC Milan president Scaroni gave his views on Italian football during the club’s 125th anniversary celebrations.

“The whole of Italian football depends on Serie A,” said Mr Scaloni. “We pay Serie B, we pay the referees, Serie A pays all the bills, but the federation doesn’t calculate our costs at all, which I have always found strange. The system has to change.”
“The Premier League brings in €2.2 billion and Serie A brings in €200 million, a difference of 11 times. The gap is glaring and we need to change it.”
