[Saba Sports News] The NBA preseason continued with the Philadelphia 76ers playing the New Zealand Breakers, which the 76ers routed 139-84.

The first quarter of the game, the strength of the sixers quickly took a 13-1 lead. Tyrese Maxey scored frequently and the Sixers took a 19-5 lead after hitting a 3-pointer. The only player to return the spoiler was Carter Wright, but Maxey added a 3-pointer to extend the 76ers’ lead to 26-11. With the rotation on the floor, the Sixers continued to dominate, leading 36-17 on Kelly Oubre’s dunk and 40-19 at the end of the first quarter, with Maxey adding 15 points.
In the second quarter, the 76ers continued the hot streak of the first quarter, with Khalil Whitney and Mac McClung playing well. McCain then made a technical foul to give the 76ers a 49-28 lead. McCain then hit a 3-pointer to give the Sixers a 58-30 lead. McCain’s 3-pointer pushed the 76ers’ lead to 30, giving them an 82-45 lead at halftime.
In the third quarter, the 76ers replaced all the starters, McCain, Reggie Jackson, Counsier and others to play. The Sixers opened the game 10-0 on consecutive baskets by Juhann Begarin and others, forcing the Breakers to call timeout. Reggie Jackson hit a 3-pointer to give the 76ers a 97-52 lead. He then threw down a basket to give the Sixers a 101-57 lead. The 76ers led 113-68.
In the fourth quarter, the Sixers were dominated by young players. After Doting drove for a layup, McCain hit a 3-pointer and Bona also scored to give the 76ers a 122-68 lead. Anthony Edwards made a dunk to give the 76ers a 126-73 lead. Abusele was named player of the game after scoring 15 points on all six shots in the 76ers’ 139-84 victory.
