Rose announced his retirement via social media in late September after being cut by the Memphis Grizzlies over the summer, ending a 15-year NBA career. Rose was the youngest MVP in NBA history, but due to injuries, his career was not as high as it should have been, regreting to retire as an uncrowned king.
The first overall pick in the 2008 draft, Rose has played for the Bulls, Knicks, Cavaliers, Timberwolves, Pistons and Grizzly Bears, averaging 17.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game. He won one MVP, the youngest MVP in history, three All-Star selections, one rookie of the Year, and one All-NBA selection.
