Rondae Hollis-Jefferson with teammates will be challenging Scotty Hopson and Converge FiberXers both for revenge and to further cement their playoff berth. The match between the two teams will kick off at 7:30 p.m.
Still fresh in TNT’s memory is Hopson’s four-pointer in the final three seconds of the last game that gave TNT a regrettable loss. Hopson not only hit key shots, but also made key defensive plays on Ronday Hollies-Jefferson’s late game-winning attempt to help FiberXers make it 96-95. The game also went down in history as setting the record for the largest four-point field goal in PBA history.
“It’s a nice innovation, and since it’s available, of course we’ll take advantage of it,” Converge coach Franco Atienza said after the game.
