(sabasports report)According to ESPN’s Woj, Tobias Harris has agreed to a new two-year, $52 million contract with the Detroit Pistons after ending his six-year stint with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Harris, 31, has played for multiple teams during his career, including the Bucks, Magic, Pistons, Clippers and 76ers. Over the past six seasons, the 76ers have been with Harris the longest, averaging 17.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.0 steals per game last season.
Despite his impressive numbers with the Sixers, Harris was ultimately unable to re-sign with the Sixers due to his high salary and low ability, mainly because the team had already signed George Knight.
Harris returned to the Detroit Pistons, no doubt to be able to assist the No. 1 player Clay Cunningham, hand in hand to lead the team out of the slump. The Pistons had a dismal record last season, finishing 17-65 and at the bottom of the league. Now that the team has changed, Harris may be able to inject new life into the Pistons and lead the team back to winning ways.
