[Saba Sports News] Adrian Wojnarowski, 55, announced his retirement from ESPN and journalism to become general manager of the men’s basketball program at his Alma mater, Saint Bonaventure University. Today, Woj officially takes over.

In his speech, Woj said, “I retired (only) from ESPN and news, but not from work. I just think I got a lot out of it, [and] don’t think I gave up anything. We’re here [at St. Bonaventure] to compete, to win and to do our best.”
According to previous reports, Woj has three years left on his original contract with ESPN, with an annual salary of about $7 million, and a total of about $20 million.
