[Saba Sports News] The Spanish women’s football team
has made a significant announcement on social media platforms. They have
declared their temporary withdrawal from the national team due to
dissatisfaction with recent policy adjustments implemented by the Spanish
Football Association. The players have outlined five reforms they expect the
association to address. This announcement has sparked widespread discussion on
domestic social media platforms. The players have presented specific demands,
including the restructuring of the women’s football organisational structure, the reorganisation of the president’s office and general secretariat, the
restructuring of the media and marketing department, and the establishment of
an integrity department. The 39 female football players have stated that they
will return to play if the Spanish Football Federation commits to addressing
these concerns.
