Born on July 2, 1989, Alex Morgan played for the California Golden Bears at the University of California, Berkeley as a forward. Throughout her career, she mostly played in the US Women’s Soccer League and had brief stints with Lyon and Tottenham Hotspur. During her 15-year career, Morgan has made 224 appearances for the USWNT, scoring 123 goals, making her the fifth all-time leading scorer in USWNT history. During her time with the national team, she achieved a record of 177 wins, 32 draws, and 15 losses, winning two Women’s World Cup titles, one Olympic gold medal, one Olympic bronze medal, and numerous national team and club honors.
