[Saba Sports News] F1 Aston Martin driver Fernando Alonso recently discussed his years of racing experience in a media interview. Beyond driving experience, he shared some of his physical maintenance practices, as Alonso is now over 40 years old. He mentioned that he has been eating more vegetarian food and limiting meat, which helps improve his overall physical function and enhance strength. Eating vegetarian or controlling meat intake may help reduce bodily inflammation, increase antioxidant capacity, and promote cardiovascular health. In addition to physical maintenance, mental adjustment is also crucial, as maintaining calmness and focus in a high-pressure racing environment is essential. Alonso’s illustrious career includes winning the F1 World Championship in 2005 and 2006 while representing Renault, becoming one of the youngest back-to-back world champions in history. At the 2022 Singapore Grand Prix, Alonso set a record with 350 races, becoming the driver with the most race appearances in F1 history. His honors and experiences attest to his outstanding achievements and deep background in the racing field.
