[Saba Sports News] According to British media, an eyewitness has given an account of Raheem Sterling’s car crash, stating that he drove against the traffic before hitting the guardrail. A startled motorist said he honked repeatedly to warn Sterling, who kept swerving out of his lane on the motorway before the collision. However, the footballer did not even glance his way. The driver added that the former England international kept switching lanes on the M3 motorway, then crashed into the guardrail. His black Lamborghini spun roughly 180 degrees at a slip road roundabout. The vehicle finally came to a halt facing oncoming traffic. Sterling has since been arrested on suspicion of drug-impaired driving, dangerous driving, possession of Class C drugs and refusing to provide a specimen for testing.
The editor believes that Raheem Sterling was once a prolific international player who helped England reach great heights over the past decade, yet he is now largely undervalued. He joined Dutch club Feyenoord last February, and his contract is set to expire soon, leaving him as a free agent.
