[Saba Sports News] Last week, the Daily Mail published a report claiming that Aston Martin intends to lure Dutch driver Max Verstappen away from Red Bull Racing for as much as £1 billion and has already begun contacting sponsors regarding this. A spokesperson for Aston Martin denied the report, but former F1 world champion Mario Andretti claimed the rumor is true. In an interview with F1 Maximaal, Andretti stated that everyone would want Adrian Newey and Verstappen on their team, and he would even be willing to give up his right arm to have them. Andretti revealed that if he could choose anyone to work with, it would be Newey, as Newey is regarded as the greatest designer in F1 history. As for drivers, he would choose Verstappen because he is currently the best F1 driver. Andretti noted that during his career, he had the opportunity to work with many people, but Newey is the best he has collaborated with so far.
