[Saba Sports News] Angel Reese stirred the pot in her ongoing rivalry with Caitlin Clark by resharing a pointed message on TikTok.
On Tuesday, fans noticed that the Chicago Sky rookie reposted a video that appeared to take a shot at Clark. The TikTok clip featured a slideshow of Reese photos promoting the former LSU star, but midway through, an image appeared of Clark immediately after her hard foul on Reese during Saturday’s game between the Indiana Fever and Sky.
The caption over that image read, “white gyal [sic] running from the fade,” a clear jab in reference to the heated moment.
Reese, who has never shied away from the spotlight or the narrative surrounding her and Clark, seemed to embrace the rivalry with the repost. Clark was assessed a flagrant foul on the controversial play — a decision that Reese publicly supported.
However, a new angle of the incident has since surfaced on social media, offering a fuller picture of what led to the foul. The footage shows Reese pushing a Fever player in the back prior to the play, prompting Clark to call it out to the referees.
Clark then committed the foul to prevent Reese from scoring an easy basket, casting the situation in a slightly different light than the original clip suggested.
