[Saba Sports News] Italy’s Imola circuit became another nightmare for the Ferrari team. Lewis Hamilton vented his frustration during the second practice session, slamming the brake system for being “randomly failing like a lottery ticket.” The seven-time F1 champion went on to say that he had never encountered such bizarre technical issues since joining Ferrari. What was even more shocking was Hamilton’s revelation that minor adjustments to two settings, which should not have affected performance, led to a cliff-like drop in the braking performance of SF-25. This nonlinear fault left the engineering team utterly baffled. Unlike the stable carbon ceramic brakes in the Mercedes era, Ferrari’s Brembo braking system exhibited fatal instability at the Italian Grand Prix. Hamilton’s radio tantrum was fully recorded by the media: “Every time I hit the brakes, it feels like rolling dice—it either works fine or completely fails.” His teammate Charles Leclerc also found himself in trouble, with warnings about “not being able to brake in warm-up mode” causing yellow flags on the track. Technical analysis showed that the high-speed corners followed by heavy braking zones on the Imola circuit exacerbated Ferrari’s braking cooling defect to the extreme. Due to budget cap restrictions, Ferrari currently lacks the means for hardware replacement.
