[Saba Sports News] In the recent first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals, Real Madrid faced Real Sociedad, where Marco Asensio, representing Real Madrid, was booed by opposing fans after receiving a yellow card for a foul in the first half. Some fans in the stands yelled, “Die! Asensio!” In response, Real Madrid’s captain Vinicius Junior immediately communicated with the referee, prompting appropriate measures to be taken, resulting in a temporary interruption of the match to maintain order and protect the players’ rights. Real Madrid expressed dissatisfaction and stated they would file a complaint, arguing that such booing severely disrupted the match and caused psychological harm to Asensio. The behavior of the fans is completely unacceptable. Regardless of the reason, personal attacks and insults directed at players are extremely impolite and disrespectful. Football matches should be a vibrant and passionate competitive stage, but they should never become venues for fans to vent emotions and launch malicious attacks.
