[Saba Sports News] The atmosphere at R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday, September 10, during the Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup 2023 was one of palpable frustration.
As the rain poured down, both fans and players alike found themselves in a state of exasperation. Thousands of dedicated fans, who had eagerly gathered at the venue, wore expressions of disappointment, while the players from Pakistan and India were clearly anxious to kickstart the game.

This sense of frustration reached a boiling point when Pakistan’s captain, Babar Azam, had a tense encounter with a member of the ground staff. A viral video captured this moment, wherein Babar was seen walking towards the dressing room, trying to put some distance between himself and the persistent individual who was keen on taking a selfie with him. Babar appeared displeased and initially chose to ignore the request, continuing on his way.
However, a few moments later, he couldn’t contain his irritation any longer.
In a clear gesture, he pointed both his arms toward the dressing room, seemingly conveying, “Follow me there if you must.” This incident added an unexpected twist to an already frustrating day for both fans and players alike.
