[Saba Sports News] Chinese badminton star Bao Yixin recently discussed her life after retirement in a media interview. She expressed that she is still in great pain, as her injuries have not healed, and she is unable to perform even basic squats. Throughout her athletic career, Bao achieved significant success, including winning the Uber Cup with the Chinese women’s team and numerous championship titles. Unfortunately, she had to retire in 2017 due to a severe injury. After retirement, she embarked on an academic journey, taking courses both domestically and internationally, hoping to further her studies and create new pathways for her future development. It is felt that injuries forced Bao to end her badminton career prematurely, which is a significant regret in her athletic journey. For an athlete, the dream is to continue striving for higher honors on the field, but injuries have blocked her path.
