[Saba Sports News] Spanish media reports suggest that
certain members of Barcelona’s management, the renowned La Liga club, are
currently utilising the club’s credit
cards for personal expenses. This has inadvertently increased the club’s
financial burden and exacerbated their financial difficulties. It is stated
that in July 2010, the then chairman Rosell discontinued the use of the club’s
VISA credit cards, but the system was later reinstated under Laporta’s tenure
as chairman. Barcelona are currently facing a severe financial crisis, leading
to limitations on player registrations and salary restrictions in recent
seasons.
