[Saba Sports News] This week, Bundesliga team Bayern Munich hosted a
DFB Cup match against 2. Bundesliga team Prussia Munster. Despite Bayern’s
comfortable 4-0 victory, the game was marred by an unpleasant incident.
Originally scheduled for the weekend, the match was rescheduled to take place
midweek due to scheduling conflicts. This change caused dissatisfaction among
Bayern fans, as it required them to take time off work to attend the away game.
In response to this dissatisfaction, some Bayern fans expressed their
frustration by throwing tennis balls and water bottles onto the pitch from the
stands. Protest banners were also raised in the stands. As a result, the game
was temporarily suspended, and Bayern Munich are now facing a potential fine of
up to 65,000 euros for the fan misconduct.
