Sports News] According to reports from German media, Bayern Munich is planning
to collaborate with Unterhaching, a team in the German 3. Liga. The aim of this
partnership is to provide opportunities for the development of young players.
Bayern Munich intends to transfer up to three talented players each season from
their U23 and U19 teams to Unterhaching. The purpose is to allow these players
to gain valuable experience and progress faster in the professional league by
taking on higher-level challenges. Additionally, Bayern Munich will provide a
training allowance to the players who temporarily join Unterhaching. The exact
amount of the allowance is reported to be in the seven-figure range per season
and will depend on the number of players involved. This initiative is aimed at
retaining talented players within Bayern Munich’s youth training system. If
these players are not immediately able to break into the top league, they can
still benefit from significant game time in the third division. Subsequently,
they have the option to either return to Bayern Munich or be sold for a profit.
Currently, Bayern Munich’s U23 team competes in the regional league, while
Unterhaching is currently ranked ninth in the German third division.
