[Saba Sports News] According to Italian media, AC Milan has reached an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen for the transfer of Victor Boniface: a loan fee of 5 million euros, with the option to buy him for 24 million euros next summer. Boniface was originally scheduled to arrive in Milan this Thursday for a medical exam, but the exam was postponed. Only Boniface’s agent arrived in Milan on Thursday, while the player himself did not. Perhaps he will arrive on Friday morning. It is currently unclear why the medical exam was delayed – whether Boniface is still hesitant about the transfer or concerned about potential health issues revealed during the exam. Throughout his career, Boniface has suffered many injuries, including two serious knee ligament tears. Last season, he was also affected by injuries and only played 19 times in the Bundesliga. It is worth noting that in January this year, Boniface was very close to moving to a Saudi club, but the deal fell apart at the last moment. At that time, some Saudi media reported that the reason the deal collapsed was due to the medical exam. If Boniface wants to join AC Milan, he must first pass the medical exam.
