[Saba Sports News] Bronny James showcased some impressive defense in the Lakers’ preseason game against the Timberwolves at Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs on Friday night.
Entering at the start of the second quarter, James played about half the period. While he didn’t score, he made his presence felt with two blocks.
His first was a chasedown block on Nickeil Alexander-Walker, followed by a rejection of Rob Dillingham’s layup attempt a few minutes later.
Scouts have noted James’ NBA-ready defense, but his offense still needs development, a point that was clear in Friday’s game.
