[Saba Sports News] Buddy Hield stole the spotlight in the Golden State Warriors’ Game 7 win over the Houston Rockets—and didn’t miss the chance to poke fun at teammate Jimmy Butler afterward.
Hield erupted for a game-high 33 points on an ultra-efficient 12-of-15 shooting, including a blistering nine three-pointers—tying the NBA playoff record for most made threes in a Game 7.
One of those deep bombs even prompted Steph Curry to break out his iconic “Night Night” celebration late in the fourth quarter of the 103-89 victory at Toyota Center.
Riding high from his performance, Hield took a playful jab at Butler during his postgame press conference. As Butler spoke to reporters, Hield interrupted with a message:
“Tell them you’re not Robin no more! You’re Alfred. His name’s Butler.”
Butler had previously embraced the “Robin” role to Curry’s “Batman” after the Warriors’ play-in win over Memphis. And while Butler turned in a solid Game 7 performance—posting 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists—it was Hield who truly shined, proudly donning the Robin cape for the night.
