[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media, the Camp Nou renovation project has brought varying degrees of dust, noise, and disturbances to nearby residents. Where there is construction, there is always dust and noise — from small renovations to large skyscraper projects. Therefore, these effects have been amplified during the reconstruction of Camp Nou. Although Barcelona and the city council have worked together to minimize the impact on residents of the Les Corts district, it is difficult to avoid conflicts altogether. In interviews conducted around Camp Nou, the situations vary. There is a hotel owner worried about his business, a Barcelona fan taxi driver, two young fans, an elderly member concerned about his seat, and a girl who has been harassed by workers. Residents generally say that the problems do exist. For those living or running a shop closer to the site, dust and noise, especially daytime noise, are very annoying. Additionally, a young woman expressed strong dissatisfaction with the workers, claiming that they spend more time outside than inside. She also said she had complained to her superiors about “inappropriate remarks” and the sound of workers imitating dog barks.
