[Saba Sports News] The Cleveland Cavaliers might have been impressed by what they saw at the Paris Olympics.
Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com mentioned on the “Wine and Gold Talk Podcast” that the Cavs are “taking a look” at Brazil’s breakout star, Bruno Caboclo. The 6-foot-9 power forward, now 28, was the 20th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors and played seven NBA seasons.
Caboclo has been playing overseas since his last NBA stint with the Houston Rockets in 2020-21. However, he made a strong comeback at the Olympics, averaging 17.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per game, including a standout 30-point performance against Team USA.
With the Cavs having several open roster spots and aiming to contend again this season, Caboclo could be an intriguing addition to their roster.
