[Saba Sports News] F1 driver Charles Leclerc obtained a marriage certificate in Monaco with his fiancée Alexandra Saint Mleux. After successfully proposing at the end of last year, they got their certificate today, truly impressively efficient. Additionally, Leclerc picked up his bride in a Ferrari 250 TR, which was very eye-catching. In videos shared by fans, Leclerc, dressed in a cream-colored suit, drove the red convertible antique car with the bride, Alexandra Saint Mleux, through the streets of Monaco; the bride, holding a bouquet in the passenger seat, created a romantic echo with the car’s classic racing livery. Reports indicate that the Testa Rossa Leclerc used for the occasion is one of the most legendary models in Ferrari’s history, fetching a staggering 40 million euros at a Sotheby’s auction in 2024. Only 33 units of the Testa Rossa were produced by Ferrari between 1957 and 1961, making this V12 classic one of the rarest treasures in Ferrari’s historical collection. The name “Testa Rossa,” which means “Red Head” in Italian, derives from the red paint on its engine cover, symbolizing the pure pedigree of Ferrari’s racing genes.
In my opinion, the moment when one of the 21st century’s most attention-grabbing F1 drivers drives a mechanical treasure from the 20th century into a new phase of life transcends the significance of a typical wedding ceremony. In an era where electrification is sweeping the supercar sector, the roar of the V12 engine serves not only as a unique accompaniment to a declaration of love but also as a swan song for the golden age of internal combustion engines.
