[Saba Sports News] Recently, Charles Leclerc completed his wedding and celebrated an important moment in his life before the start of the new season. Before the race at the Australian Grand Prix, media interviewed Lewis Hamilton, asking if he had prepared a wedding gift for his teammate. Hamilton smiled and replied that he hadn’t gotten anything ready yet, mentioning that he usually spends a lot of time picking out gifts, and it might take up to six months for him to give one. He also joked that he has never been married, so he doesn’t have much experience to offer advice.
In response, Leclerc humorously remarked that if Hamilton were to give a gift after six months, it would be near the end of the 2026 season, so what he would most want is a world championship title. He quickly added, laughing, that Hamilton probably wouldn’t be willing to give up the championship for him, joking that it wasn’t very realistic.
The editor believes that Leclerc, having served with Ferrari for many years, understands the level of attention and pressure the team faces. His seemingly humorous response before the race was actually a way to ease the pressure on Hamilton.
