[Saba Sports News] Over the past three transfer windows, Chelsea have
invested a total of 1 billion euros in player signings. Despite their
significant spending, Chelsea have had a disappointing start to the season,
accumulating only five points in six rounds of league matches. In light of
this, Chelsea are considering further bolstering their attacking options in January
to address their goal-scoring difficulties. One of their targets is 27-year-old
Brentford forward, Ivan Toney. It is reported that Toney might become available
in January as he is expected to leave Brentford. Chelsea have only managed to
score five goals so far this season, ranking among the lowest in offensive
productivity in the Premier League. If the situation does not improve, there
are speculations that coach Mauricio Pochettino might face dismissal within the
next two weeks.
