[Saba Sports News] According to reports from British media, Ben Chilwell’s mansion in Surrey has faced complaints from neighbors due to the construction of facilities such as a basketball court without planning permission. The reports indicate that the Chelsea defender was found to have carried out unauthorized developments in his mansion, which includes a swimming pool, a gym, and two game rooms. Allegedly, Chilwell constructed a wall in his mansion to serve as a new fire-pit walkway, but he failed to obtain approval from the local council for the project. Additionally, his next-door neighbors have raised objections, citing concerns about loss of privacy and potential overlooking.
Furthermore, Chilwell intends to plant new laurel and yew hedges, revamp his garden with soft plants in shades of gray, green, and purple. He also plans to invest in a stone step seating area around the pool with glass balustrades and new paving stones. Documents from the Elmbridge Council reveal that the construction work began in April but remains incomplete, with officials expecting to make a decision in September.
