[Saba Sports News] The Minnesota Timberwolves are in a desperate situation, so their head coach isn’t holding back.
Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch spoke with the media before Thursday’s Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals at Target Center in Minneapolis. Finch’s Timberwolves are down 3-1 in the series and need three straight wins to become the first NBA team to ever come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a series. Facing those odds, Finch wasn’t hesitant to call out both the officials and the Mavericks’ tactics.
Finch expressed frustration about the officiating throughout the series. “I feel like we haven’t been getting enough respect from the officials all series,” Finch said.
When asked about having Anthony Edwards guard Luka Doncic, Finch said, “He does a better job of getting through all those illegal screens they set for Luka.”
