[Saba Sports News] Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer has invested heavily to make the Intuit Dome a state-of-the-art sports arena.
The Clippers will move into their new $2 billion facility for the 2024-25 season.
The arena boasts several high-end features designed to enhance the fan experience. The most notable is the 44,000-square-foot double-sided halo board, comprised of nearly 3,600 60-inch TVs.
Additionally, the Intuit Dome addresses inequality in t-shirt tosses. Ballmer recently told Clippers reporter Justin Russo that it was “unfair” for fans to have unequal chances at getting a shirt from the usual on-court t-shirt cannon. To solve this, the halo board includes a built-in cannon capable of reaching every seat in the 18,000-capacity arena.
These small touches can significantly enhance the fan experience.
The innovative t-shirt cannon is just one of the many features the Intuit Dome offers to improve in-game experiences, including a unique bathroom setup.
