[Saba Sports News] Russell Westbrook is on the move again.
The Los Angeles Clippers are trading Westbrook to the Utah Jazz for guard Kris Dunn. The Clippers will also swap second-round picks with the Jazz and include cash in the deal. Westbrook had picked up his $4.02 million player option for the upcoming season.
Interestingly, the Jazz are expected to reach a buyout agreement with Westbrook, allowing him to go on waivers. Once he clears waivers, he is expected to join the Denver Nuggets, a move anticipated over the past several weeks.
Westbrook averaged 11.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game in 68 contests with the Clippers last season. The Nuggets will be his sixth team.
Dunn, who played in 66 games last season with 32 starts, will be joining his sixth team since being drafted No. 5 overall in 2016.
