[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media reports, the final work on the upper tier of the Camp Nou stadium is progressing smoothly. The report states that construction of the upper stand is moving ahead at full speed. During the Champions League matches, it could be observed that the concrete structure has been almost fully completed, with the exception of a small section above the south goal. Right below the south goal, the stand that will permanently serve as the 1957 Goal Stand has been officially inaugurated, named to commemorate the historic year of the stadium’s completion. The imposing structure of the upper tier on the sides of the stadium has also begun to take shape. Progress has also been made on the opening of some VIP boxes, specifically including the Stadium Club and Main Hub areas in the main stand, as well as the Mini Hub boxes located on the sides of the stadium. Laporta himself has stated on several occasions that the aim is to finish the main structural work by the end of this year and begin installing the roof starting in 2027.
The editor believes that it can now be foreseen that once the third tier is largely completed and the roof installed, the stadium will boast a stunning appearance. Although there is still some time to wait, the progress made so far has been considerable.
