[Saba Sports News] According to reports from British
media, both the Saudi Professional League and the Qatar League have shown
interest in acquiring David de Gea. However, De Gea has expressed his
preference to remain in Europe and has communicated this stance to various
clubs in the Middle East. British media sources state that despite attempts by
his former Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo to persuade him, David
de Gea has not been swayed to join Riyadh Victory. This summer, Bayern Munich
and Real Madrid were reportedly in discussions regarding De Gea’s potential
transfer, but ultimately neither club made an offer. It is further mentioned
that De Gea is keen to compete in the UEFA Champions League once again and is
willing to wait until the January transfer window to make a decision on his
next move. If no suitable offers materialise by then, the 32-year-old
goalkeeper may consider retirement.
