Sports News] In a recent interview with the media, Barcelona’s current coach,
Xavi, made the shocking announcement that he would be stepping down from his
position at the end of the season. This revelation sparked intense speculation
among the media about who would succeed him as Barcelona’s next coach. One
prominent name that emerged was Luis Enrique, the former Barcelona coach who
currently manages Paris Saint-Germain in the French Ligue 1. However, in a
recent interview following Paris Saint-Germain’s 2-2 draw with Brest, Enrique
gave a different perspective. When asked about the possibility of returning to
coach Barcelona, Enrique responded, “I am not sure about it. There is
nothing to say about the matter, so I will not comment.” This implies that
Enrique currently has no intention of leaving Paris Saint-Germain. Enrique
previously coached Barcelona from May 2014 to May 2017, during which he guided
the team to a historic treble and achieved the highest winning percentage of
any head coach in Barcelona’s history.
