In Hamilton’s latest Instagram post, he showed off several of his most prized trading cards, featuring two footballers and one basketball player: Thierry Henry, Vinicius Junior, and LeBron James. Vinicius Jr. himself liked Hamilton’s post, and this kind of interaction is nothing new. On multiple occasions before, the two athletes have shown mutual admiration for each other and even revealed a deep friendship. On February 17th, Hamilton commented under one of Vinicius’ posts:“You still shine bright. So proud of you, brother. I’m with you always.”
The editor believes that sports would be dull and meaningless without mutual admiration between athletes. Such cross-sport friendships between athletes are nothing new.
