Ofcom insiders confirmed that these complaints involved accusations of biased commentary. TNT switched the commentator shot to the live broadcast, showing main commentator Darren Fletcher flanked by Ferdinand and Savic. After the match, the broadcaster uploaded the commentator video to social media, showing Ferdinand shouting “Oh my God” twice when Manchester United equalized. When Manchester United scored, Ferdinand excitedly punched his fist, and Savic next to him laughed and shouted, “Go finish the game!” Ferdinand added, “I believe in miracles. Wow.” Later, when Harry Maguire scored the decisive goal ensuring Manchester United’s advancement to the semifinals, the pair went wild.
