[Saba Sports News] According to French media reports, FIFA President Gianni Infantino announced on Thursday that 1 million will be donated to each of the 11 US cities hosting this summer’s Club World Cup. The report states that this summer’s Club World Cup, which will involve a total of 32 teams, will take place from June 14 to July 13. With nearly two months to go before the opening, FIFA President Infantino announced on Thursday that a total donation of 11 million will be made to the host cities. Each city hosting the matches (Atlanta, Charlotte, Cincinnati, LosAngeles, Miami, Nashville, NewYork−NewJersey, Orlando, Philadelphia, Seattle, and Washington) will receive 1 million each. Infantino said these funds will be used to “support local social projects,” including “building small football fields in impoverished communities” and “organizing football activities for children in these communities, which will help the benefits of the tournament continue for years to come.” Fans’ opinions on this matter remain unknown.
