[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana has been fined for the tenth time for driving violations and has been labeled a “repeat offender.” On February 27 last year, Fofana was caught driving a £300,000 white Rolls-Royce Cullinan at 54 mph in a 40 mph zone in Twickenham, west London. The French player was already banned from driving for two years last year and pleaded guilty to the charge of speeding in a 40 mph area. This marks Fofana’s tenth driving violation, and he previously injured actor Dean Gaffney from the British soap opera “EastEnders” in 2024. Fofana did not attend the hearing at Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court today but was fined £1,062 and had three points deducted from his license. Prosecutor Carrie Williamson stated: “The defendant was caught by an automatic speed camera driving at 54 mph in a 40 mph zone on the A316 Chertsey Road at 1:30 AM. His driving record shows that he is currently disqualified from driving. He holds a non-UK driving license. Due to dangerous driving, his driving qualification is revoked until May 13, 2027.”
