[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, former Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini has reached new heights in his post-retirement career. He is now the CEO of the biochemical company GF Biochemicals. Reports indicate that Flamini’s assets have reached a staggering £10 billion, even surpassing the wealth of Arsenal owner Stanley Kroenke. Recently, Flamini was received by King Charles III at Buckingham Palace. Flamini shared photos of his meeting with the King on social media, revealing that he attended the event as a member of the Circular Bioeconomy Alliance, which is dedicated to “shaping the future of the bioeconomy.” Flamini retired in 2019, but he co-founded GF Biochemicals as early as 2010. After retirement, Flamini holds 60% of the company’s shares and serves as CEO. The company’s core business is finding green alternatives to petrochemical products, and its team was the first to achieve the commercial production of levulinic acid. It is reported that this substance can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 80% in the manufacturing processes of detergents, skincare products, and more.
