[Saba Sports News] Former NBA guard Eric Bledsoe was arrested early Wednesday morning on a felony domestic violence charge, according to a report from TMZ Sports.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to a call around 2:30 a.m. regarding a domestic incident on a Los Angeles-area freeway. Bledsoe was found at a nearby gas station, where officers also encountered a woman with visible facial injuries, including bruising and swelling.
Bledsoe reportedly declined to speak with authorities and was taken into custody on suspicion of felony domestic violence. Jail records show he was booked and held on $50,000 bail.
Bledsoe, 35, was a first-round pick in the 2010 NBA Draft and played 12 seasons with the Clippers, Suns, Bucks, and Pelicans. He averaged 13.7 points and 4.7 assists per game in his career, earning NBA All-Defensive Team honors in 2019 and 2020.
Bledsoe last appeared in the NBA in February 2022 before playing overseas in China with the Shanghai Sharks. This is not his first domestic violence allegation—he was previously arrested in 2022 for allegedly slapping his girlfriend, though the case was later dropped due to lack of evidence.
