[Saba Sports News] According to recent reports from English media, former Newcastle United shareholder Amanda Staveley is interested in partnering with a Middle Eastern consortium to acquire a stake in an English Premier League team, likely Tottenham Hotspur. It is reported that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has always been open to selling club shares, making a potential agreement between both parties possible. Amanda, 51 years old, became a Newcastle shareholder in 2021 but left the club in July this year. She is now forming a new capital team and hopes to acquire a stake in Tottenham. If successful, this team will seek further acquisition of Tottenham shares. As of 2024, Tottenham’s valuation has reached nearly €3 billion; Amanda’s consortium may acquire 25% of Tottenham shares for over €600 million and subsequently seek further ownership.
