In the book, Rubiales will present his personal version of the “Jenni Hermoso case” that led to his resignation, vowing to expose what he calls “the biggest conspiracy in the history of Spanish football.” According to information revealed by the publisher, Rubiales will provide written evidence in the book to prove his innocence and counter what he describes as “fabricated lies” that portrayed him as a “corrupt individual.” He will also delve into whether external influences – from the Spanish government, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, La Liga President Javier Tebas, or even “woke culture” – played a role behind his resignation. The book’s structure will revolve around three crucial dates for him: his election as RFEF president, the historic World Cup win by the Spanish women’s team, and the day he ultimately resigned. The publisher states that the book will be a “sincere and brave” account, not only revealing the truth of the events but also showcasing the reforms Rubiales implemented during his tenure that led to significant economic and structural development for the RFEF.
