Sports News] According to reports from British media, Fulham are set to pay £4
million to Chelsea as part of the loan agreement for Armando Broja. The loan
deal was finalized on the winter transfer deadline day, with Fulham securing
the services of Broja from Chelsea. The agreement included a payment structure
tied to Broja’s appearances for Fulham. Fulham will not have to make any
payment if Broja plays in more than 60% of the remaining games. However, if he
fails to reach that threshold, Fulham will be required to pay Chelsea £4
million. The payment will be triggered if Broja does not start every game until
the end of the season. It is reported that Chelsea is hoping for Broja to
perform well at Fulham, as this could increase his value for a potential
permanent transfer in the summer. In the event that the loan spell does not go
as planned, Chelsea would still receive some compensation. On a competitive
level, the loan deal has not yielded significant results thus far. Broja has
yet to start a game since joining Fulham and has been unable to find the back
of the net.
