[Saba Sports News] After a stint with the Milwaukee Bucks’ organization, the youngest Antetokounmpo sibling is taking his basketball career to a new destination.
As reported by Lukas Malinauskas from BasketNews, Alex Antetokounmpo will be joining M Basket Mazeikiai, a professional basketball team in Lithuania. At 22, Alex is the youngest of the Antetokounmpo brothers, four of whom have pursued professional basketball careers.
His recent tenure included playing for the Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Bucks, where he averaged 5.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 0.7 assists over 21.2 minutes per game this season before being waived earlier.
The Bucks have notably involved multiple Antetokounmpo brothers over the years, including two-time NBA MVP Giannis and Thanasis, who joined the team in 2019 and is known for his energetic play. Meanwhile, middle brother Kostas plays in Greece for Panathinaikos. With Alex’s move to Lithuania, the Milwaukee Bucks now feature only two members of the Antetokounmpo family.
