[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Swedish police are investigating a shooting and possible extortion involving a relative of Viktor Gyokeres’ agent. The report states that the police are looking into whether the shooting and alleged extortion plot are related to the player’s transfer. It is said that the relative boasted about receiving a portion of the £64 million transfer fee from Gyokeres, which may have led to him being extorted. After residents reported hearing gunshots, the police arrived at the scene, where no one was injured. Recently, Gyokeres’ agent did not confirm or deny whether he had become a target of extortion during an interview, but he said, “It’s a very fragile industry, and unfortunately, this kind of thing happens from time to time.” Notably, the agent also stated, “This shooting has nothing to do with me or football.” In response, a police official said that in recent years, criminals have targeted football agencies because they handle large sums of money.
