[Saba Sports News] The Haas F1 Team has announced that Australian driver Kevin Magnussen will be leaving the team at the end of this season. Haas team leader Ayao Komatsu took to social media to express gratitude to Magnussen for his contribution to the team, acknowledging him as a cornerstone of the team’s lineup. No other driver has represented us in as many races. Magnussen showcased his exceptional driving talent, notably with a remarkable fifth-place finish in the 2022 Bahrain F1 Grand Prix. Komatsu hopes that they can find a way to continue collaborating in the future. Magnussen, in turn, updated his social media, thanking everyone at the Haas team and expressing pride in being part of such a great team. Another driver who represented the Haas F1 Team in this season’s F1 Championship, Nico Hulkenberg, has also confirmed his departure from the team, joining the Sauber F1 Team. The Haas F1 Team has already signed a multi-year contract with the 19-year-old British driver Bill Oliver Bearman. With Magnussen’s departure, there will be a vacant driver seat in the Haas F1 Team for the next season.
